Matthew Telford is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance and Commercial Litigation practice groups.  Matt represents insurers in coverage disputes, including cases arising out of construction claims, negligence, bad faith, and premises liability.  His clients include regional, national, and international insurance companies. He also has experience managing complex class actions and government investigations, as well as general commercial litigation. Matt has counseled clients in virtually all aspects of civil litigation including extensive written and electronic discovery, motion practice, mediation, settlement discussions, class certification, and trial preparation.

While obtaining his J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Matt served as Technology Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

Originally from the Greensboro, North Carolina area, Matt now resides in San Francisco with his Siamese cat, Simone.  When not helping clients with their legal needs, he spends his time traveling, exercising in Golden Gate Park, and bonding with friends and family.
