Seattle Partner Peter Mintzer to Speak at CLM Construction Conference and FETTI Conference in September
Peter Mintzer, the Managing Partner of Selman Breitman's Pacific Northwest Group, will be a speaker at two events in late September.
On September 26th, Peter will participate in a session at the CLM 2019 Construction Conference in San Diego. Peter will join a panel of noted environmental professionals in a session entitled Environmental Claims Arising from Construction and Redevelopment Projects. His co-presenters will be Adena S. Edwards (Assistant Vice-President, Environmental & Crisis Management Claims, Starr Adjustment Services, Inc., New York), Brian Margolies (Partner, Kaufman, Borgeest & Ryan, LLP, New York), Andrew Sargent (Senior Manager, Environmental, Simon Property Group, Indianapolis), and Catherine Pierce (Executive Vice President, Environmental, Vertex Engineering, Inc., Charlotte). The following day, Peter will travel to Chicago to speak at the National Forum for Environmental and Toxic Tort Issues (FETTI) 2019 Annual Conference. In a session entitled, Cutting Edge Techniques in Resolution of Natural Resource Damage Claims at Superfund Sediment Sites, Peter and co-presenters Scott Lockert (Partner, RestorCap, LLC, Seattle), and David C. Weber (Partner, Beveridge & Diamond, PC, Seattle) will offer insights into this complex topic. The annual FETTI Conference is an educational and networking event for insurance claims professionals to obtain insights from nationally-recognized speakers on a broad range of environmental issues, particularly those impacting the insurance industry.
