ISO Releases New Personal Auto Exclusion For Drivers Engaged In Ride Sharing Business Operations

ISO has recently issued form PP 23 40 10 15 which will exclude liability, med pay, and first party damage coverages to a vehicle if the vehicle is being used as part of livery business and clearly excludes this coverages when the driver is logged into a “transportation network platform.” So, Uber and Lyft drivers won’t have coverage under their personal policies if they are on the company system, whether or not they actually have a passenger in the vehicle.

Here is a link to the form on our website. If you have questions, email Neil Selman at nselman@selmanlaw.com or call Neil at 310.689.7070.
