Calvin Whang is Of Counsel in the firm's Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Cyber Law, Insurance, Toxic Tort/Environmental, Commercial Litigation, and General Liability practice groups. 

Calvin represents financial institutions, corporations, and insurance companies in privacy, data breach, and insurance coverage disputes, including cases arising out of personal and financial data breaches, environmental pollution, toxic torts, and other long tail injuries which routinely contain extracontractual claims.  He also has experience in representing the interests of insurers under directors and officers, fidelity, errors and omissions, professional liability, excess, umbrella, and cyber crime insurance policies. 

With considerable experience in cyber law and insurance, Calvin is well-positioned to evaluate complex data breach and insurance coverage issues and provide insightful advice and recommendations to his clients.  He works closely with general counsel, claims representatives, and business owners to best protect their interests in an efficient manner.

Calvin grew up in Walnut, California and presently resides in the South Bay with his wife and two kids.  When not helping clients with their legal needs, he spends his time traveling with his family and following college football.
