David Owen Navasartian is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Commercial Litigation, and Trucking & Transportation Practice Groups. He represents insurance companies, corporations, and individuals in pre-litigation claims, civil litigation, and complex litigation matters, including cases arising out of negligence, tortious conduct, personal injury, automobile accidents, breach of contract, premises liability, and cases arising out of catastrophic injury. David’s clients include technology companies, national corporations, and small businesses. He also has experience in representing automobile manufacturers in disputes that involve unique lemon law cases, representing corporations and small businesses in transactions and disputes that involve complex business law, and representing real estate corporations in real estate matters.
Considerable experience in General Liability enables David to quickly interpret and evaluate the specific medical, scientific, and legal issues in these cases, and to use those evaluations to develop key strategic approaches to achieve early dismissals, aid in favorable settlements of claims, and negotiate enhanced outcomes for his clients. He works closely with Insureds, Claim Representatives, National Counsel, and General Counsel, and through analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of his clients’ claims and defenses, he develops effective case strategy used to consistently and efficiently serve his clients’ best interests.
David was born, raised, and presently resides in Los Angeles. When not helping clients with their legal needs, he spends his time traveling, backpacking through the Sierra Nevada Mountains, hiking local trails, going to the gym, and volunteering for various YMCA programs. For the past several years, David has volunteered and been an adviser for the YMCA’s Youth and Government program, which helps teach and inspire over 4,000 California high school students about California’s legislative and judicial branches of government.
