Joshua Strand is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s Orange County office and is a member of the firm’s Trucking & Transportation and General Liability practice groups. He represents his clients in civil litigation and arbitration proceedings, including cases arising out of wrongful death, serious injury, and insurance coverage disputes. Josh’s clients include insurance carriers, transportation/trucking businesses and ride share companies. He also has experience in representing businesses entities in civil litigation centering on complex fraud and other financial malfeasance allegations, defending municipal government entities and government officers in U.S.C. 1983 civil rights litigation, as well as criminal defense.
Josh’s far-reaching experience in General Liability enables him to investigate and defend against fraudulent claims, evaluate complex coverage issues, and aggressively defend cases at trial. He manages all aspects of his litigation matters and works closely with clients in order to foster a collaborative approach in best serving his clients’ needs.
While working towards his J.D. at Chapman University School of Law, Josh was a founding officer of the Air and Space Law Society, a member of the Mock Trial Honor Board, Moot Court Honor Board, a contributing editor to the Nexis Journal of Law & Public Policy.
Originally from New York City, Josh resides in Orange, California When not helping clients with their legal needs he spends his time playing basketball, reading books about history, science and philosophy, as well as volunteering at his local synagogue.
