Matthew Munson is Of Counsel in Selman Leichenger Edson Hsu Newman & Moore’s Seattle office. He represents insurers in coverage and extracontractual matters throughout the Pacific Northwest, including in the areas of environmental, construction defect, general liability, auto, and professional liability matters. Matthew’s practice includes the prepare of coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and declination letters. He has represented insurers in a variety of litigation matters, including environmental coverage, personal injury, and medical malpractice, in state and federal courts in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. He also has experience in construction defect, environmental defense, and other commercial litigation.

Matthew works closely with in-house counsel, claims representatives, and others to provide practical and timely advice to insurers. He also provides in-house training for clients on insurance claims handling and litigation.
