Angelica Zabanal to Speak at DRI Annual Meeting on Cultural & Generational Divides in the Law
Angelica Zabanal will be a speaker at the DRI Annual Meeting, to be held at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel on October 17-21.
In session entitled, "Lost in Translation: Communication Skills for Practice Management," a diverse, three-person panel will address the challenges associated with law practice management across cultural and generational divides. Topics will include how to develop client development skills in an evolving business climate. Angelica and co-panelists Marta-Ann Schnabel and Bryan Garcia will offer recommendations and best practices for improving communication, and will discuss the benefits to be gained from focusing on what we all have in common, rather than on our differences.
Angelica works with the firm's Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and General Liability practice groups, and has represented national insurance companies in complex insurance fraud litigation. She is on the Board of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC), and also serves as the organization’s Co-Director of Community Outreach and Women's Committee Co-Chair.
DRI is the leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. For more information on the conference, please visit the event page.
