Brendan Penney, Former Gibbs Giden Partner, Joins Selman Breitman's Commercial Litigation and Construction Practice

Selman Breitman LLP is pleased to announce that Brendan B. Penney has joined the firm's Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practices in the Los Angeles office as Of Counsel.

Brendan focuses his practice on a wide range of construction defect and claims litigation, in both public and private projects.  He has broad experience in representing both insured and insurers in quiet title actions, bad faith claims, real estate fraud, priority disputes, lender liability, and foreclosure issues.  He represents property management firms and commercial building owners in connection with contract disputes, providing legal advice with respect to their day-to-day business activities.   

Brendan has more than 20 years' experience handling construction, real estate, and other business litigation matters. He has extensive bench and jury trial experience, having tried dozens of matters.

Prior to joining Selman Breitman, Brendan was a partner at Gibbs Giden Locher Turner Senet & Wittbrodt LLP in Los Angeles. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, J.D., with honors, including the order of the Coif, Syracuse Law Review, and Justinian Honorary Society. He serves as co-chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Title Insurance Subsection Steering Committee.
