We’re pleased to share that Peter J. Mintzer, Partner in the Seattle office at Selman Leichenger Edson Hsu Newman Moore, will be speaking at the DRI Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute in Chicago, taking place March 11–13, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

Peter will present during the session titled “Responding to the Rising Tide: Pollution Policies and Environmental Risks in 2027 and Beyond.” The program will examine how evolving regulatory frameworks, increasing environmental hazards, and rapid market shifts are redefining environmental insurance coverage and claims.

The session will provide insights into policy developments, regulatory mandates, litigation trends, and how exclusions and coverage gaps may affect claims arising from contamination, climate-related risks, and regulatory changes. Panelists will also discuss how insurers are adapting products and risk strategies to address mounting environmental exposures.
